The whole country will be glued on their TVs later today when President Uhuru Kenyatta makes his way to Rivatex textile in Eldoret, the backyard of his embattled Deputy William Ruto. But ahead of his much-awaited visit, Rift Valley leaders have dispelled any fallout with the President and said they are ready to host him.
Mount Kenya Leaders Plot to Lockout Ruto from the Region
Whereas Rift Valley leaders have downplayed the fallout in the Jubilee Party, another story emanating from Central alleges that operatives in Harambee House and others who ran President Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign are said to be holding meetings to counter Deputy President William Ruto’s wave in Mt Kenya.
It is said that the operatives have brought on board some Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and heads of state corporations.

The petition is before a court and a three-judge bench comprising justices Lydia Achode, George Kimondo and Margaret Muigai is handling the matter. It would be interesting to see what they will come up with.
