‘Less talk, more action’ President Kenyatta urges over Prayer Breakfast

President Uhuru Kenyatta, speaking during the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, urged leaders to walk the talk and act on their promises.

“If we could all just stop talking and put into practice, Kenya would be a different place today,” said the president.

“We love talking about it, we love making our commitments, but the practical side is a bit tough. Let’s just do it. Let’s not talk about doing it. Lets just do it. That is all our people ask of us,” he added.

This, while he originally posed the now famous Tanga Tanga phrase, warning his deputy William Ruto against making political safaris to bid for his 2022 presidential ticket, and instead use the rallies to promote the Big 4 development agenda.

This, while the president has himself been on the spot for holding empty talks regarding the fight against corruption, yet nothing materialises.

“President Kenyatta barks but can’t bite,” said one critic online.
