The Muje hitmaker, Akothee, has left her fellow female musicians in fear after she threatened to expose those who have been misusing her.
Through her social, media accounts, she said; “WOMEN IN MUSIC INDUSTRY ARE VERY DANGEROUS, THE FURTHEST MEN CAN GO IS TO ASK YOU TO GO TO BED PERIOD.
BUT WOMEN EXTEND IT INTO BECOMING SMALL WITCHES first I inspire them, then they love me & really want to meet me soo much, their mothers love me so much, then I am given a phone to talk to their mothers on the phone before I know it I am unfollowed.
Then the photos we took together on their walls are brought down they never talk of my music career, they are very interested on how I make money, most blue ticks are when I send my music content, but gossips are answered asap.
Who are these people? I am scared, maybe paranoid but it’s fucked up. I learnt I was unfollowed when they slide into the Dm when their bosses ask them to ask me to post or repost something this sucks, it suuuuuuuuucks. I think today I should just mention names bad energy stay away.”
This comes after she blasted Gospel musicians for going to clubs yet they fail to welcome secular artistes in church.
Speaking in an interview with Mseto East Africa, the mother of five claimed Kenyan gospel musicians are hypocrites as they preach water but take wine.
According to her, each party should just stick to their forte instead of confusing fans.
“I have a question I want to ask, why do gospel artistes attend our shows in night clubs but we can not perform in churches. I have bumped into some of them in Tribeka. What are they looking for in night clubs?” she posed.
In her usual demeanor, the songstress claimed she rather sticks to the secular world because Christians will shoo her away from their churches upon seeing her. Akothee wrapped up by claiming she enjoys her current life and would not want to change anything.
