The recent scandals surrounding Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula will just end and forgotten in a spate of two weeks.

Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti says his team is currently probing the leaked telephone conversation alleged to be between Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula and a representative of the Dubai royal family over the fake gold scandal.

According to the DCI, his team is probing the authenticity of the leaked telephone conversation between a man alleged to be Senator Wetangula and a gold merchant presumably from the UAE, demanding to know the status of what is believed to be a gold deal.
According to the DCI, his team is conducting a forensic trail touching on all mentioned suspected in and outside the country.
The political analyst states that the Jubilee government is only hyping the situation as nothing will be done to Wetangula and cronies.
“All that you are seeing is just a Pr, Wetangula is among many who are big fish and I want to assure you that nothing will be done as those in power will protect, “He said.
Reports have come to indicate how the government has decided to drag its feet over the Dubai gold scam where fraudulent gold dealers are said to have scammed Dubai ruler’s cousin some Sh400 million.
Since the case surfaced mid-March, no serious arrests and arraignments have been witnessed in court.
Initial reports revealed that the Dubai ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, had personally called President Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga to expedite the transportation of the gold to Dubai.
