Despite being one of the most star-studded teams in Europe, it looks like the Catalans would like to offload some of their dead-weight players to the likes of United and Arsenal this summer.
The Catalan side recently retained the La Liga title comfortably after another strong domestic season but failed to clinch the Champions League after a humiliating loss to Liverpool in the semi-finals.
Hence, Barcelona chiefs are already looking to improve the team in the coming months.
Frenkie De Jong has been brought in from Ajax, and could be joined by close friend Matthijs De Ligt this summer.
Antoine Griezmann is also expected to join the Nou Camp outfit after announcing his imminent Atletico Madrid departure.
And the publication claim as many as nine players could leave the club to free up funds.
But which English teams could benefit?
Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti and Ivan Rakitic are the most high-profile names on the list.
Coutinho
Coutinho has been heavily linked with a return to England with Chelsea, despite his close ties to Liverpool and their impending transfer ban.
The Brazilian continues to struggle in Spain after securing his dream move in January 2018 and Griezmann’s arrival could spell the end for him at the Nou Camp.
Like Gareth Bale at Real Madrid, Coutinho wants to stay put this summer.
Rakitic is another name to have been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.
And reports this week suggest United are keen to land the midfielder.
Ivan Rakitic
Ivan Rakitic wants has insisted that he wants to stay at Barcelona but with incoming midfielders, he could find himself heading elsewhere.
Rakitic, like Coutinho, has previously stated he wants to stay at Barcelona but could now be forced to move elsewhere to free up room on the wage bill.
Inter Milan are the current favorites to sign Rakitic in the coming months.
United have also been linked with a move for shot-stopper Jasper Cillessen in recent days, as the Dutchman wants to move on in search of more game time.
As for Umtiti, Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the Frenchman this summer.
Unai Emery is desperate to strengthen his defence in the coming months and will be hoping for more funding than was awarding to him in the winter window.
Umtiti and Andre Gomes
Unai Emery has publicly praised Samuel Umtiti in recent weeks
The Spaniard has publicly praised Umtiti in recent weeks, fuelling speculation a move may be in the offing.
Andre Gomes, on the other hand, will be moved on following a strong loan spell at Everton.
Both the Toffees and Tottenham are keen to sign him permanently in the summer.
Rafinha is finally expected to leave the club and is another to have been heavily linked with Inter Milan in recent seasons.
But another expected departee Denis Suarez is unlikely to return to England after a disastrous time at Arsenal since he joined on loan in January.
Marc Cucurella and Sergi Palencia are likely to be loaned out again after spending this season as Eibar and Bordeaux respectively.
