The rules for men’s belts are many and confusing. But the vast majority can be broken when you know how. Choosing the type and colour of the belt depends on the taste of the person who puts it on and it depends on the type of clothing he puts on.
The belt makes a man presentable and smart but some men tend to make some mistakes when putting them on. Here are some of the mistakes made by men when putting on their belt:
1. Mixing the colour of the belt with the shoes
Whenever you put on your belt, ensure the colour of the belt matches with that of your shoes. Some people just put on a belt because they have to but don’t mind the colour of the shoes. If you put on brown leather shoes, ensure your belt is also brown in colour.
2. Putting on worn out belts
Putting on worn out belts can be so embarrassing because everybody can easily see how bad it looks. Try to buy a new belt once you notice that the one you own is worn out.
3. Mixing your accessory with the belt
This is the biggest mistake men make without noticing. If you put on a wristwatch which is golden in colour, your belt also should be golden and if at all you are a fan of bracelets and rings, they also should be golden.
