Grief filled Murang’a GK Prison after one of the most gorgeous prison warders was killed in unclear circumstances.
The youthful jailer identified as Pauline Wangari was found murdered in Kiharu Estate where she stays.
Pauline has been known by the prison warders as a bubbly and outgoing personality who enjoyed a dalliance with a host of male company.
Colleagues described the jolly prison warder as jolly and outgoing and a person who loved partying out with her pals whenever she was off duty.
Police said they discovered the lass’ decomposing body in a rental house in Kiharu Estate, Murang’a.
The warder had stab wounds to the head, chest and stomach.
Muranga County Police boss, Josphat Kinyua said investigations have begun although preliminary findings revealed that it could be a love affair gone awry.
“We have started investigations to establish the cause of the death of the prison warder although, by the look of things, it appears that it could be love gone sour,” he said.
A female officer who was a friend to the woman told reporters that the 24-year-old was a “party queen” who loved carousing and had many male friends.
“She was very beautiful, likeable and very social; she liked partying and had lots of male friends whom she went out with in local clubs. She had served as a warder for three years and had celebrated her 24th birthday on April 20,” a friend who sought anonymity told reporters.
