Bad news for Brighton as De Bryune is spotted training ahead of entertaining Man City

The Premier League comes to the end this weekend and the top two horses will be praying that their rivals slip to give them a chance to go top of the league and clinch it.

Liverpool will host lethal Wolves at Anfield, while Manchester City who are the defending Champions will face Brighton.

The Cityzens, Manchester City will travel down to Brighton for their final Premier League game of the season, hoping to return with the Premier League title.

Pep Guardiola confirmed that Fernandinho would definitely be out of City’s clash with the Seagulls through injury, but hoped that Kevin de Bruyne could feature after training this week. Pictures yesterday showed the Belgian join in training after Guardiola spoke, giving City a huge boost for the title decider.

Guardiola also reserved praise for Bernardo Silva, saying he should have won the Player of the Year award.

“He was the best, not just in our team,” said Guardiola. “But I don’t vote. Bernardo can play incredibly well here, in everywhere. Give me one team, he will play well there. So clever, so smart, nice guy, he does everything well.”

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva would shine in any team in Europe, according to Pep Guardiola.

The Portugal star was beaten to the PFA Player of the Year by Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, while his teammate Raheem Sterling beat him to the PFA Young Player of the Year.

Bernardo , however, has been the beating heartbeat of a team on the cusp of becoming the first to retain the Premier League title in ten years.

Through the middle or on the wing, the man nicknamed Bubblegum for his ball control has carried the side in the absence of last year’s enforcer Kevin De Bruyne and Guardiola has no doubts about his influence.

Pep Guardiola has revealed he will be taking no notice of what is happening at Liverpool on Sunday afternoon as his team fight to win the Premier League .

The Manchester City manager knows that a victory by his team at Brighton will be enough to clinch the title, regardless of how Liverpool fare against Wolves.

And while staff in the City camp are sure to be monitoring events on Merseyside, Guardiola said he will not be interested and will focus entirely on what is in City’s own hands.

“It’s better to focus on what we have to do,” said Guardiola.

Pep Guardiola saidKevin de Bruyne ‘could’ be involved against Brighton tomorrow, but Fernandinho is out.

“He has done part of training session last two days,” said Guardiola when asked about De Bruyne who later trained with the team.

The Manchester City midfielder has been out with a hamstring problem since he limped off in the 1-0 league win over Tottenham just over three weeks ago and it was initially thought the FA Cup final next week would be his target for a return.

But De Bruyne has trained with the Blues for the last two days and Pep Guardiola refused to rule him out for the final day game on the south coast, saying he “could” be involved.

De Bruyne has been hit by a succession of injury troubles which have kept him out for much of the season.

“He has done part of training session last two days,” sad Guardiola when asked about De Bruyne. Asked about the chances of him making the squad on Sunday, he said he “could” be involved.

Fernandinho has also been missing since he injured his knee in the 2-0 win at Manchester United, but he has already been ruled out of the game on Sunday and only has an outside chance of being fit for the FA Cup final against Watford at Wembley on May 18.
