Embattled Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has stated that he will be naming and shaming thieves publicly because he knows them and one day very soon they will be removed from government offices one by one.

Sonko has as well in a face book post revealed that he is unapologetic over remarks he made over the house levy during the workers pay service.

He stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta to revisit and review the housing levy directive for the sake of low income earning Kenyans.

“I want to confirm that I have no apologies to make on my statement at st. Stephen’s church during the workers prayers service and for the record, I stand firm by my words and continue to humbly and respectably urge my boss, friend and mentor H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta to revisit and review the housing levy directive for the sake of the low income earning Kenyans in as much as I support the President’s Big 4 Agenda and the affordable housing pillar where Nairobi County has committed to development of 200,000 units in the next 3 years.”

Net salary of those employees in both the public and private sector are expected to dip 1.5% following government directive to deduct House Levy.

President Uhuru Kenyatta unveiled the Big 4 Agenda two years ago saying his government would put up half a million low-cost houses.

Do you think Sonko and other opposing legislators can oppose the house Levy successfully?
