On Monday morning, activist Boniface Mwangi found himself in the hands of the detectives from the Directorate of Criminal investigations.
The activist while sharing information about his arrest said the officers had not told him the reason as to why they were arresting him.
This saw Kenyans on Twitter start a hashtag demanding the release of Mwangi, who was finally set free.
Shortly after his release, Mwangi revealed to journalists that the officers at Central police Station wanted him to aid them with information regarding an investigation.
He was told that he was part of a revolutionary group who were planning to take over the government so as they can get themselves jobs.
