Tanzanian Songstress Hamisa Mobetto has spoken about her experience in co-parenting with Diamond after claims suggesting that Diamond is a deadbeat father.
Apparently, fans had thought that Diamond will frequently be seen with his son considering that he is the child living within his country unlike his children with Zari who live in South Africa.
Hamisa and Diamond have one son ‘Dylan’ who is mostly seen with his mother and fans were curious and wanted to know the relationship between Diamond and his son.
Speaking on Wasafi Media, Hamisa says that Diamond is a good father because he always does his part and therefore it became easier for them to raise the child despite being separated.
“Nafasi yake anaitumia vizuri sana na ni baba mzuri sana wa mtoto wetu and that is enough. Hakuna shida kama kulea mtoto peke yako.It is so hard, and when you get support of the father of your kids, it feels nice” she said
The Wasafi artiste has also clarified his relationship with his children with Zari saying that she is the reason why he rarely gets access to them.
Diamond mentioned that he has always tried his best to perform his fatherhood duties and responsibilities but he blames Zari for not giving him space to interact with the children.
Speaking during an interview on Wasafi FM, Diamond says that he used to send upkeep money ever since they split with Zari except for about 2 months.
Although his fans seemingly believed in the ‘deadbeat’narrative, Diamond’s confession brought in a whole new perspective.
