Sifuna breaks silence after his dramatic ending with Aisha Jumwa

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has responded to Aisha Jumwa funeral drama hours after the ordeal.

Sifuna spoke as he responded to former Ikolomani Member of Parlianment Boni Khalwale after he applauded Aisha Jumwa for grabbing the Microphone from Sifuna.

According to Sifuna, it is a taboo in his community the Bukusu to engage into fight with women, hence his calm reaction towards Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.

” Hehehe… Omwami @KBonimtetezi hii ni siasa iliyopitwa na wakati. Besides sijui kama wewe ulifunzwa but for us the Bukusu we dont engage women in physical confrontations. Wewe jaribu hio siku moja uone ile slap utakula. Kesho niko kwako Ikolomani.”

Sifuna’s response came after the dramatic Ending with Aisha Jumwa in Kilifi during the funeral services of Mombasa Deputy Governor’s father Mr William Kingi who passed on early in the week after a short illness.

Ms Jumwa, who was the master of ceremony, shocked mourners walked she to the stage and grabbed the microphone from Sifuna accusing him of “talking politics during funeral”.
