Gor Mahia head coach Hassan Oktay has lauded AFC Leopard’s new signings an expects a tough duel when both teams face each other for this season’s second Mashemeji derby on May 19 for the Mashemeji Derby.

Speaking to a local Radio station, Oktay said their rivals have been on some good form and recruited well in the short mid-season window; a factor he thinks will make the tie more enticing.

“If you look at the signings they made in the midseason window then you realize they roped in quality players. They have been playing well and I’m sure they will be out for revenge. We had it easy in the first leg but this time it promises to be different,” Oktay said.
