Babu Owino moves to empower Embakasi women in business

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has in a new move launched a ‘Table Banking’initiative, in a bid to support women in his constituency.

The legislator said the move is aimed at improving lives.

“I believe that through this joint effort, we will improve the quality of life for the women and wider society of Embakasi East constituency,” he said on his social media post.

“I will sit with the women of Upper Savannah Ward in the first engagement of my table banking empowerment initiative,” he added.

The Table Banking is set to: Obtain seed capital to set up their businesses; Access loans to do improve & grow existing business; Get business mentorship & coaching.
