Atwoli pours some wise words to Sonko after Church embarrassment

On Sunday, Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko was an angry man, angry to an extend that he ended up embarrassing elders at the Church.

This was due to the ever growing corruption in the Country which made Sonko to call a spade a spade and not a big spoon!

The Nairobi County boss badly attacked Nominated MP Maina Kamanda and former Nairobi County gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth.

Sonko argued that Kamanda had grabbed land on the road reserves and had put up houses, whereas Peter Kenneth had milked Kenya Re dry before he left.

This happened in the presence of COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli. Did he see Sonko going the wrong way?

Well, while responding, Atwoli asked Sonko to stop pushing Deputy President William Ruto agenda.

“You are young. Stop heading where you are heading since it is a bad place. I am old and wise and advise you to continue being with us to build this nation.”

They were speaking during the Workers’ Prayer Day at ACK St Stephen’s Church along Jogoo road.

The event, organised by the Central Organisation of Trade Unions, was also attended former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka, Knut secretary general Wilson Sossion, Makadara MP George Aladwa and Embakasi South MP Julius Mawathe.

Atwoli has over a long time been bragging of Cursing ex-Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Mohammed Echesa after he failed to adhere to his advice.

Do you think this will make Sonko cool his temper and stick to the advice?
