“Ujinga hatutakubali!” Babu Owino demands answers on fate of Handshake

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongiri famously known as Babu Owino has finally decided to speak out on what the Handshake has in plate for them.

Babu Owino has stated that he is smelling a rat in the relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Hon Raila Odinga.

Babu Owino has alleged that the by product of the handshake is to lead the country into a referendum which would eventually amend the constitution.

Paul Ongiri has boldly said that incase that fails to work then, they are ready to call for a divorce.

Babu Owino has also demanded by the end of the year the real plans of the handshake should be crystal clear.

This allegations come after Hon Raila Odinga failed to secure with the help of President Uhuru a loan to extend SGR line upto Kisumu.

But what is more painful Ambassador Monica Juma has stated that SGR extension to Kisumu was not among the government key priorities.

Strange headlines out of Nairobi today!

The relationship between Kenya and China is broader than the SGR. In fact the SGR extension beyond Naivasha was never a priority agenda for the current mission to Beijing.

This has elicited a lot of reactions from Kenyans. Others have celebrated while others have felt betrayed.
