Gospel artist Jabidii has opened up about his involvement in crime before he got saved.
Jabidi was born and raised in Kibera and he says that his life revolved in that area.
Having lived in Kibera for about 20 years, Jabidi also shared on the things that he did in his past that were not good.
People knew that he was not a good person and he says that he was hooked up with bad company and to them, stealing was a usual thing.
Jabidi admits that together with the squad he was linked to, they used to time people and steal from them. He also added that he was also into gambling and drug abuse.
The Singer says what made him change is his suspension from school in form four and his teacher told him that they gave up trying to change him and the world would be his best teacher.
Jabidii says that these words contributed to his turning point and he decided to be different after his mother hustled to get him back to school.
The gospel artist added that at that point he decided to cut off links with the bad company and focused on his studies.
Jabidi says that life in Kibera was hard but it taught him to appreciate life. Even with the little he could get, he understood that it was always good to be grateful.
Fast forward to his life after making it in the music industry Jabidii is now counted as a role model by the people from his community.
