Kenyan gospel artiste Bahati and his wife Diana Marua have had issues for a while after the wife broke the news of going to study in Italy for 3 months on their reality show Being Bahati.
Apparently, Bahati has been unhappy with his wife’s new move and has been in a foul mood.
It even reached a point where Diana pointedly asked her husband whether he was happy for her? He replied emphatically that he did not want to speak about the issue.
What Diana is not saying is that Bahati isn’t unhappy about the trip to Italy. The problem stems from the fact that she made the decision and announced it to the family before consulting him.
The ‘Mama’ singer had even stopped calling his wife by her pet name of ‘Babe’ and instead started calling her ‘Mama Heav’ and ‘Diana’. Diana noted the change and even asked him to go back to the initial name he had for her.
He continued with the psychological warfare even refusing to eat her food claiming that, ‘I’m fasting till you go to Italy. I’m praying for you. Safe skies.’
But all is well in the home as the two made up after the singer spoke to gospel musician Ben Githae. Bahati even apologized to Diana for overreacting and she responded in kind saying:
It is nice to grab a snack with hubby after all that, that has been happening. To hear him apologize about that night, it made me warm up to him.
Diana also saw the error in her ways, saying that she should have consulted her husband before she delivered her news about going to Italy.
