Liverpool Fans Were Impressed By One Thing Salah Did Against Chelsea

Needless to say. But Mo Salah was the man to watch during Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.

Right after the fantastic score by Sadio Mane, the Egyptian forward struck Chelsea with a magnificent screamer-a goal of the season.

Salah cut inside from the right and unleashed an unstoppable strike into the top-left corner to make it 2-0. Kepa Arrizabalaga got nowhere near it.

It may even be a goal of the season contender, yet Salah claims it doesn’t compare to his stunner against Everton last season.

“I don’t think, I just feel,” Liverpool’s No.11 said after the game. “Normally I shoot [with the] inside of the foot but this one – because it’s far [out] – I just hit it with power.

“I was a bit lucky that the ball hit the net like that.

“I will always chose [the Everton] one. This is my favourite because it’s my first derby. I think I used everything good – the strength, the technique and the skills.”

Salah was a constant threat to Chelsea at Anfield and the most notable part was when he floored Rueben Loftus Cheek and left Emerson tumbling while they were battling for the ball.

Just like Lionel Messi, the 26-year-old is deceivingly strong and able to hold off opponents, mostly due to his low centre of gravity.

He’s now joint-top of the Premier League top goalscorer’s chart alongside Sergio Aguero (19), while Liverpool are two points clear at the top of the table.
