Moi University student has been trending for all the wrong reasons this week thanks to the macabre murder of Ivy Wangeci.
Ivy, a 6th year Medical Student at the institution was hacked to death on Tuesday by her lunatic boyfriend Naftali Kinuthia. The guy used an axe to commit the heinous act.
Anyway, as the institution mourns the untimely demise of the promising medic, another student is celebrating a life-changing opportunity.
Steve Ngoje is the latest millionaire in the controversial Safaricom Kochokocho promotion.
The 23 yr old is 4th year Electronic and Electrical engineering student at the University’s Kesses Campus.
He says the money will help him settle after his education. He plans to pay for his Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering and take care of his sister’s education.
“I am very happy to have won a million shillings at this stage of my life. I am completing my undergraduate studies with a promising beginning thanks to Shukrani Kochokocho promotion.
I am going to enroll for a Master’s Program in Electrical engineering as soon as I get my results to further my studies. The money will also go a long way in advancing my younger sister’s university education,” said Ngoje.
Ngoje comes from a little known village called Kamagambo in governor Okoth Obado’s Migori County.
He is the 4th born in a family of five.
