Popular Gospel Artist Bahati first came to limelight when he left President Uhuru Kenyatta on stage and sat on his chair in 2016.
However, the artist later apologised after public criticism.
Now the artist’s jilted baby mama has accused the singer of abandoning her when she was heavily pregnant with their daughter.
According to Yvette Obura, the mother of Bahati’s child, she had to sleep hungry and suffer through numerous trials back in 2015.
In a damning Facebook narration, Yvette said that was the lowest time of her life and to make things worse, the lady was penniless.
The mother of one also claimed she was unable to feed their little girl because she was not producing enough milk.
Apparently, Yvette had nothing to eat and as a result, her child also had to suffer the same fate.
“I hate my pregnancy period to date. First time mom, went through the knife and I was alone.
I did not even know how to raise a child. One week later, my milk dried up because I was not eating,” she said.
Going deeper into details, the lady said her daughter cried a lot and the two had to sleep on the cold floor because beds were just pure luxuries.
“I went back home and my mom cried. I was so pale with almost 30kgs down. I remember crying every day. I just thank God for my mom,” Yvette penned.
Also, Yvette claimed she shed 30kgs during the time and had to move back in with her parents due to her dire situation.
The young mum had earlier accused Bahati of abandoning his fatherly duties and even refusing to acknowledge their daughter.
Later, after tons of criticism, Bahati publicly claimed their child and apologised to his fans for siring a baby outside wedlock.
