A section of Tanzanian women are engaging in a weird practice to curb their sexual urge.they put the tobacco (in the privates) and feel like they’ve have been with a man. Even if a man makes a move , it feels like he’s just a nuisance.
The women mix the ground tobacco (ugoro) with soda ash (magadi) before mixing it with cooking oil and when placed in the privates, the urge to have s** ceases.
Most of these women husbands have now opted to investigate the matter after being turned down time and again.Whenever they are asked (for conjugal rights), they decline.After men carry out the investigation,they find their wives with tobacco.
“I asked her why she had tobacco yet she did not smoke it but she didn’t respond. After constantly inquiring on the matter, she finally told me what she uses it for,” one of the husband said.
The tobacco is mostly used by divorced women, widows or those whose husbands are away for a long time.
However,the tobacco can cause infertility, Sexually Transmitted Infections and even cancer.
The said women view this as a means a family planning method.
