Nadia Mukami exposes the dark side of her former manager

Kenyan Female artist Nadia Mukami has opened up about how her former management went behind her back to betray her.

This comes days after she announced her exit from Hailemind Entertainment.

Late 2017, Nadia met with David Guro, an entrepreneur and talent agent who saw talent, determination and hard work in her.

Guro therefore saw it fit to sign her up to his record label, Hailemind Entertainment.

Although Nadia Mukami had earlier downplayed it and said that money was the problem, she has gone beyond to explain the core problems.

Nadia has admitted that the split left her hurt because they had agreed that the story behind their parting ways will be out of the media yet the manager went ahead and shared press releases to blogs.

“Even though it had not worked, I did not want it to be in the media” she said

The Singer mentioned that this move was the one thing that hurt her so much because she was really close with the manager.

Speaking on an Interview with Radio Maisha, Nadia Mukami revealed that some of the things that were leaked to the blogs were not true and she clarified that she was never rejected by any record label.

Nadia explained that they went out for a meeting with a certain artist who owns and record label and had promised a full deal but she had to turn it down because they did not accept her condition to retain her manager from HaileMind.

The female artist also hinted that there was foul play even on her deals since there is certain money that she never saw or received. She however did not want to go further into the details.

Nadia reveals that the contract she had with Hailemend was only on management but she used to fund her own videos and audio among other expenditures.

The Singer also added that there were times she needed help in terms of finances and the manager refused to come through for her yet he took to social media to make posts such as ‘Your Manager is not your sponsor’

Nadia says that it was too much and she felt that her exit was best at that point for the sake of both their career.

The Singer has moved on and now she says that she is working with a team together with her new manager.

She also hinted that she does not plan on getting signed under any record label since she has learnt a lesson and she feels that there are many limitations on that path.

Despite the ugly ‘divorce’, Nadia Mukami says that she appreciates the far that Hailemind entertainment has brought her.
