NTSA reshuffles staff in a bid to enhance operational effectiveness

The National Transport and Safety Authority has today announced the reshuffling of their staff in a bid to enhance operational effectiveness.

The Board reached this decision after a thorough review of their operations.

NTSA noted that the staff reorganization is aligned to the Authority’s strategic plan and aimed at positioning the Authority to optimize their services and be more responsive to stakeholder needs.

In line with these changes, the Board has transferred 227 employees working in the motor vehicle inspection and registration departments.

NTSA also stated that in the coming weeks they will be advertising key Management Positions aimed at improving their capacity to meet stakeholder expectations.

“The positions to be filled are; Director Registration and Licensing, Director Road Safety, Deputy Director Supply Chain, Deputy Director Motor Vehicle Inspection, Manager Supply Chain and Manager ICT.” reads their statement in part

The Board also assured of it’s commitment in orienting the Authority towards increased levels of accountability and performance; and to execute sustainable measures for enhancing efficient, reliable and safe roads in Kenya.
