When a middle-aged woman from Kawala, Ngungani village in Kitui was killed by a crocodile in the Kiambere dam, the angry residents went back to the dam and decided to revenge by slashing the reptile into pieces.
According to the residents, Kanyiva Kilonzo was fetching water from the dam when the reptile attacked, dragging her into the water.
The incident occurred at 7am.
