Meet the world oldest woman who got into World records

Kane Tanaka has been named the oldest living in the world by Guinness World Records. Kane who is said to be 116-years-old was born on January 2, 1903. She was officially recognised by the Guinness World Records at the nursing home where she resides in Fukuoka, Japan.

The 116-year-old woman was confirmed as the oldest person alive on. Tanaka had been presented with the certificates for the record and oldest woman living. According to Guinness World Record, Kane was born prematurely on January 2, 1903 and was married to a man identified as Hideo Tanaka four days after her 19th birthday.

Her husband was a business man who managed their family business known as Tanaka Mochiya which specialised in selling sticky rice and Udon noodles. However, Kane was forced to take over the business after her husband was called for military service in 1937.

Kane who now lives at a nursing home wakes up at 6am, studies in the afternoon and plays board games.
