Diamond Platinumz’s father Mzee Abdhul Jumaa recently induced waterworks among Tanzanians after claiming he is ready for death. The star’s father claimed he is tired of his ailment and has never known peace ever since he was diagnosed with skin cancer, which affected his legs.
Speaking in a candid interview with Tanzanian newspaper Ijumaa Wikienda, Mzeee Jumaa said he wishes he was dead because his condition has been worsening by the day.
”It gets to a point when I wish I was just dead. This is because my ailment gets worse by the day. My legs are in pain, and I am suffering,” he said.
”I have very sick, I thank God am breathing but it has not been easy. I thank my London-based daughter Zubeda, she helped me a lot before she flew back. My condition is getting worse with every dawn,” he added.
Mzee Abdhul went ahead to plead with his son Diamond to help him get treatment and promised to call a media conference after seven days to expose everything and share about his condition, should the singer fail to act within the time frame.
”Several people promised to help me, including my daughter Zubeda. I also expect my son to hear my plea and help me. I will call the media in seven days if nothing would have happened so that I can show the world how I am suffering, I will also give out my numbers during the press conference so that well-wishers can also help,” Abdhul revealed.
Diamond’s dad’s revelation came just days after her London-based daughter promised to fly him abroad for treatment. The daughter, Zubeda claimed she was working on relevant travel documents for the father and would fly him out when she puts everything in order.
