Thursday 14th February, with the final death report about activist Mwatha released, it is officially confirmed that the late activist died procuring an abortion.
While addressing the press, Dr. Peter Ndegwa, the lead pathologist in the Late Mwatha’s case said that Caroline Mwatha died due to excessive bleeding from a damaged uterus in an abortion gone wrong.
Ndegwa said that grave mistakes during the abortion drove Mwatha to her death. Among the discoveries that helped to join the dots was a foetus that was badly damaged.
The report, obviously seeming factual may clear several conspiracies surrounding Mwatha’s death, the latest of which several Kenyans refused to fathom.
Many people dismissed that Mwatha could have been pregnant as the medical exhibit to her admission to the hospital and morgue was heavily tampered with.
But going by the temperature in which Kenyan’s took Mwatha’s death, it is likely they will doubt the autopsy report.
