Police are now saying that Dandora based Human Rights Activist Caroline Mwatha died from a botched abortion. Mwatha has been missing since Wednesday last week. Her body was found at city mortuary on Tuesday afternoon.
Detectives are now saying that she died at an unnamed clinic on Thursday last week after she tried to procure an abortion. A woman who owns the clinic and a doctor have been arrested.

It is not yet clear if why a married mother of two with a husband based in the middle east would want to abort a five months pregnancy.
