The world can be a tough and dreary place.
So much so that the mere thought of an individual’s disappearance can spark plenty of worry and concern among the friends and family of the individual in question.
That is currently the predicament in Dandora.
Caroline Mwatha Ochieng, one of the Dandora Community Justice Centre founding members, has gone missing.
Missing Since Wednesday
Caroline, a champion of human rights and better living conditions in the impoverished Dandora slums, has been reported missing since the morning of Wednesday, February 6th.
According to information provided by close friends of Caroline, she was last seen leaving her home in the morning.
Additionally, she has been unreachable via her phone since Wednesday as the cellular device has been off.
The missing report was filed at the Dandora Police Station.
Champion of Rights
Caroline has been one of the most vocal individuals in Dandora against the carrying out of extra-judicial killings in the community.
Indeed, her disappearance raises a lot of questions regarding whether or not they are tied to a political squabble, or perhaps she might be a victim of random personal, or crime-linked events.

Missing Activists
Missing activists reports are not an uncommon affair here in the country. Over the years, a number of prominent activists have been abducted and executed, only for their bodies to be discovered dumped in the outskirts of the city.
