After passing on of academic giant Mugenda, the Education sector has lost yet another.It has been reported that James Angore, an education director of Kilifi County specializing in Early Childhood Development Educaton(ECDE) passed on on Thursday night at around 8 pm.
Reports indicate that the 64-year-old collapsed inside a toilet in his office.
Those at the deceased’s workplace indicated that he reported earlier in the day looking well and in good health.
One workmate, an executive by the name Katana indicated, “He spent the whole day in his office till around 7.45 pm. I was also in my office finishing up some work.
“While I was walking out of my office I saw a staff who called for help to get the director out of the toilet. We helped him out and took him to the elevator so that we could rush him to hospital.”
According to Katana, Angore was able to stand at the moment but he showed serious signs of difficulties in breathing.
“While in the elevator, things became worse and he could no longer support himself. We took him to Agha Khan Hospital in Kilifi but the facility was closed because it only operates during the day,” Katana stated.
They then rushed him to another close medical facility, Mwananchi Nursing and Maternity Home, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
