Liverpool legend predicts who will win between Arsenal-Chelsea

Former Liverpool and Manchester United ace Michael Owen has tipped Chelsea to emerge the victors when they take on London rivals on Saturday 19th at the Emirates.

The Gunners will be hosting the Blues starting from 8:30 PM and despite Arsenal having a good home record, Owen says the visitors will get the bragging rights. Unai Emery’s men suffered a 0-1 defeat to West Ham last weekend while their counterparts registered a 2-1 win over Newcastle United.

“Arsenal have won just one of their last 14 league games against Chelsea although it should be noted that the Gunners have a good recent home PL record in London derbies – unbeaten in their last 12 at the Emirates,” he said.

“Gunners keeper Bernd Leno has only kept one clean sheet in his first 15 PL starts (v Huddersfield H) and I would be surprised if the hosts kept their north London rivals at arm’s length given the Blues have won their last three away PL starts. Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard might be the difference.

Michael’s prediction: Arsenal 1 – 2 Chelsea
