Akothee: They don’t hate me, they hate the success

Kenyan Female artist and phenomenal woman Akothee has recently shared her experience in the music industry.

Akothee says that when she started out he music career, she was fully prepared to face the space with all the energy.

The Singer says that despite the challenges that surround female artists,  she was so fearless and open minded on what to expect.

When she started out, people might have hated on her but this never moved her.

According to her, people did not hate her they hated her success and the wonder woman she was becoming.

Akothee says that she had to climb up the ladder alone and from her sweat, build her brand.

The ‘lotto’ hitmaker is currently among the top female artists and among the faces  of female artists in Kenya.

Akothee hints that it is her hard-work effort and talent that did the talking and got her where she is.

She also warned female artists who seemingly fully depend on getting support from men.

Akothee says that some end up taking advantage and that becomes the end of the music career.

Her life and hustle clearly serves as a lesson to other upcoming artists especially the ladies.

The Singer advice that one should get in the game with the mentality that they mean business so as to succeed.

Akothee says that back then, she used to sing in a church choir and she was always different from the rest.

She stood out and that is what made her realize that she was born a start; decided to chase her dreams.
