Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has thanked ex-manager Jose Mourinho for improving him as a player and a person during his time as boss at Old Trafford.
Pogba, speaking to reporters after United’s impressive 5-1 demolition of Cardiff on Saturday said; “We won trophies with Jose and I want to thank him for that.
“He makes me improve, as a person as well, and that’s it.
“We work even when if not everything went well. But that is the past and I want to thank him for that.”
United’s win over the bluebirds was their most impressive performance in the recent past, but the midfielder insists they have to improve.
“We are happy that the first game of the manager starts like this. It’s important now to carry on like that.
“We cannot play like this and win with five goals and then the next game lose.” He added
