KPL defending champions Gor Mahia have named their in demand creative midfielder Francis Kahata in the squad to face coast based side Bandari united at the Mbaraki stadium.
Kahata missed the trip to Malawi, where Gor edged out hosts Big Bullets on post match penalties to progress to the first round of the CAF Champions League Competitions. Their have been rumors that he is about to complete a move to an Algerian side.
He will play in a three man midfield alongside Ernest Wendo and Humphrey Mieno. Veteran goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch keeps his place between the posts after his heroics in Malawi on Wednesday that saw him save two penalties.
Ivorian import Ephrem Guikan who was rumored to have left the club will lead the hunt for goals alongside Burundi international Francis Mustafa who has been underwhelming in recent matches.
The rest of the squad remains the same with George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo having been relegated to the bench alongside new signing Nicholas Kipkurui and the man of the moment Benard Ondiek.

Gor will be hoping to avenge the bitter defeat they suffered at the hands of their hosts in August. The defeat was their first of the season and paved way for more.
But they know beating the Benard Mwalala coached side at the their backyard is easier said than done.
