When Kenyans voted for their legislators, they had very high hopes that they would change their lives. Turns out politics is a game played by greedy men who are hungry for power and money.
KOT have expressed their disappoint in the constitution that has done nothing but increase their bills and debts.
we should have no more than 12 counties, with each having 10 or less MCAs, no more than 100 MPs, no Women Reps, no Senate and no Nominated Members in any of the Houses. ; #FlawedConstitution pic.twitter.com/TmUagcqkF6

Hours after the National Assembly failed to vote for the Gender Bill, some male lawmakers have proposed to amend Article 81 of the Constitution, which requires that “not more than two-thirds of members of elective public bodies shall be of the same gender”.
The proponents want only appointive positions subjected to the two-thirds-gender principle. However one user has said the problem does not lie in our constitution but rather constitutionalism, legality, morality and integrity.
Even if we changed the Constitution, the difference is the same.
It is not true that we have bad laws, we are lacking in constitutionalism, legality, morality & integrity.
Even if God and his angels gifts us different laws our problems shall remain the same#FlawedConstitution

This constitution was a quick fix orchestrated by the civil society players, people who had spent their entire life vilifying the Government especially on electoral processes. Nowonder we’re here bemoaning a huge wage bill and over representation #FlawedConstitution

Kenya is set to spend an all-time high budget of Ksh3.07 trillion in the 2018/2019 fiscal budget tabled before parliament. In the 2017/2018 budget, Kenya spend Ksh2.6 trillion.
However, Kenya’s revenue collection is in deficit of the estimated budget, which will force her to borrow an additional Ksh562.74 billion. This is amid the current state debt of more than Ksh4 trillion which has raised eyebrows both locally and internationally.

The budget for the 2018/2019 financial year is the largest budget ever in Kenyan history, totalling Ksh3.075trillion ($30Billion), with more than half of this going towards recurrent expenditure and less going to development #FlawedConstitution pic.twitter.com/06Eo8uu1fV— Kibet Benard (@KibetBenard_) November 30, 2018
The solution to the “Big-man syndrome” can never be creating 47 big men with unchecked power and barely fettered direct access to public resources.#FlawedConstitution

MPs now want to be served tea by five-star catering staff at their beck and call as they recline in their seats, supervised by a public health specialist.
Besides the five-star bar services with continental and traditional cuisines, and top-of-the-range 4WD cars bought by you, they also want a facelift to their glittering offices.
