Did you know that Misquoting someone especially a renowned international media personality can land you into trouble? Well, media mogul Julie Gichuru got a lesson of a lifetime from visiting CNN news anchor Richard Quest for allegedly misquoting him.
Julie wrote that Richard Quest was enjoying his stay in Kenya but ended up misquoting him in the said tweet.
“Nothing beats the service industry in Kenya. Here, I am surrounded by giraffes while having breakfast. In a country declared by the World Bank as the preferred investment destination in Africa, what else can I ask for? Kenya is magical!” tweeted Mr. Quest
Mr.Quest later came across Julie Gichuru’s tweet and was quick to correct her pointing out that he hadn’t made such a statement.
Correction to my earlier post. Nice pic and sentiment but NOT a QUOTE. Delighted that Richard is having a good visit ???? https://t.co/LE9bjuRKh3

Kenyans on twitter did not let Julie have some piece of mind. They made fun of her online with some telling her to next time conduct proper research before tweeting.
Here are some of the Reactions.

Richard Quest has been in the country from last week for some CNN coverage for his show Quest Means Business. He will leave the Country on Sunday as part of the delegation that will board Kenya’s first direct flight from Nairobi to New York this Sunday.
President Kenyatta will flag off the historic flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after the airport secured a Last Point of Departure clearance earlier in the year.
President Kenyatta and other dignitaries will be part of the passengers in the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, featuring 30 fully flat business class seats and 204 economy seats.
