Tweeps have reacted to the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now expecting their first born child, a royal baby they say. The news has attracted a heated conversation between individuals with mixed reactions of excitement and unkind comments in regard to this information..  News was broken this morning on a thread of tweets via the official account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their Royal Foundation, based at Kensington Palace.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.

Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.” reads tweet

Their  royal wedding  was watched across the globe a couple months ago ( 19th May)  and even aired on some of Kenyans local TV stations. During the wedding, the two came off as a couple that genuinely love each other. A wedding that was praised and equally criticized as Meghan Markle walked down the aisle in a simple bridal gown with unnoticeable make up.

Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, has also issued a statement after the news was made public. Through the Kensington Palace, this is what she had to say: “Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”

Although Tweeps have shared their congratulatory messages, several went  to the extent of questioning whether their marriage will last and gave comments to suggest the news was not well received.
