Migori senatorial by-elections are scheduled to take place on October 8, 2018.
This is after the seat was declared vacant following the death of Senator Ben Oluoch in June.
A tough competition is being witnessed between ODM’s Ochilo Ayacko and Federal Party’s Eddy Oketch.
Many believe that in all by-elections where ODM is involved, Party leader Raila Odinga has always campaigned for the Party candidate.
They say whether ODM are vying against a 10 or 27 year old, Odinga has always shown support for the candidate.
In this case, Ayacko is competing against the 27 year old Oketch.
In all by-elections where ODM is involved, @RailaOdinga has always campaigned for the Party candidate. Whether they are vying against a 10 or 27 year old, he has always shown support for the candidate. He will do the same in Migori tomorrow.

“It is Mr. Ochillo Ayacko,” this was the message we passed today at Minyenya primary, Thim Lich, Matoso beach and Migori Bus park. ODM, through our party processes and by the will of the people, believe Mr. Ochilo best represents the interests of the people. pic.twitter.com/zpJxc9HsXV
