It has only been a few days since President Uhuru Kenyatta signed the 2018 Finance Bill into law, ever since, some Kenyans have been lamenting and a number of leaders turned into playing the blame game.
Director of ODM communications Philip Etale on a random post asked Kenyans to name the lead behind ‘bloating’ of parliament.
Who was the CEO of the team that drafted the new constitution that created all the offices, commissions and a bloated Parliament? If you know, post the name here.

This a myopic way of looking at it. The CEO and entire committee of expert just received views and harmonized them. The draft was then subjected to the public for consideration.

With the mixed reactions coming right after his post, one suggested that if we think that the constitution is faulty then we should blame ourselves and amend it instead of pointing fingers,
That would be moving towards wrong direction. The drafters were guided by VIEWS from grassroots. If WE think the constitution is faulty let’s blame OURSELVES and plan to amend it.

Somehow, this reveals the state of the nation and potrays the existing cracks in leadership. A number of Kenyans complained of the signing of the financial bill and their outcry was because of the suffering that awaits them.
As the blame game continues seemingly it rests heavily on the constitution makers.
