Arsenal boss Unai Emery is expected to hold talks with midfielder Jack Wilshere
Wilshere, has been willing to renew his contract with the Gunners, following the expiry of his contract end of the month.
According to the Evening Standard, Wilshere wants assurances over his role in Emery’s team from next season and a clearer picture of the manager’s intentions.
He made 38 appearances for Arsenal last season, and the newspaper adds that the midfielder remains keen to sit down and thrash out his future with the Gunners.
The 26-year-old is expected to begin talks promptly due to his absence from England’s World Cup squad.
