A woman from Neosho faces charges in connection with the death of her two-month-old son.
Newton County prosecutor William Lynch has filed a charge of felony child abuse resulting in death against 30-year-old Sarah Sobelman.
The case dates back to the early morning hours of October 20th when the child was taken by the father to Freeman Neosho Hospital.
The child reportedly died around 2 a.m.
An autopsy reportedly showed the child died from multiple brain bleeds with the death being ruled a homicide.
The court ordered Sobelman to be detained without bond in the Newton County Jail pending trial.
