Naby Keita and Fabinho are set to make their Liverpool debuts against Chester on Saturday, while Loris Karius is also expected to play.
Keita, who will wear the No 8 shirt, finally became a Liverpool player on Sunday after his protracted move from RB Leipzig. He was joined at pre-season training by fellow summer signing Fabinho, who completed his move from Monaco.
Both are likely to take part in Liverpool’s first friendly of the summer at the Swansway Chester Stadium alongside Karius, who will be looking to put his error-strewn performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League final behind him.
