Outspoken lawyer Miguna Miguna, today (December 31), turned 57 years.
Miguna, who lives in Canada with his family after he was exiled in 2018, took to his Twitter account to reveal that his children made his day special through songs and showers of love as well as to thank his immediate family.
“Today is my birthday. My children woke me up early in the morning with songs and showers of love,” he tweeted.
He also thanked Pan-Afrikan Family of Patriots, Freedom Fighters and Lovers of Justice and Equality and recommitted himself to the Struggle for Freedom.
“I thank my immediate family and the extended Pan-Afrikan Family of Patriots, Freedom Fighters and Lovers of Justice and Equality. I recommit myself to the Struggle for Freedom. Amen,” the self-declared General added.

Miguna is married to Jane and the two are blessed with three children, fraternal twins born on September 1, 2001, and a daughter born on 11th April 2003.
Miguna, who was born in 1962, has two more children from his previous marriage to Tracey Wynter, with whom they broke up in 1998, after 2 years of relationship.
A number of Kenyans took to Twitter to send him birthday wishes and messages of goodwill.

Miguna, who has twice been deported by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government on claims he is a Canadian citizen, announced he will be returning to the country on January 7, 2019 in a move that could again set him on a collision course with the authorities.
