Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen’s 1987 Christmas edition has sparked reactions from Kenyans.
The Senate Majority leader on Friday morning shared a TBT photo which he said was taken during 1987’s Christmas season.
The photo shows Murkomen as a young boy being held by his mother.
With him is his young brother whom he has identified as Amos, his father and some other family members whom he hasn’t identified.
His father is seen holding a single speaker radio cassette, a precious machine during those times.

Also in the photo are two cats which Murkomen didn’t fail to recognize.
While identifying the cats in the photo, Murkomen insists that they had no other names other than being called cats.
Sorry I forgot there are two cats in the picture. They were just called cats 🤣🤣🤣 no additional names

Kenyans as usual didn’t let Murkomen’s TBT go untouched.
They have expressed different reactions, with many noting that the lawmaker has indeed traveled a long life journey to reach his current destination.
Some argue that Murkomen is an inspiration to many.
Here are some of the reactions.
Thank God for this far you’ve come.
