Former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale was Tuesday morning given a dress-down by Rarieda MP Otiende Amolo after he suggestively insinuated that ODM supporters were a violent lot.
Speaking on AM Live show, Khalwale narrated an incident last Sunday where Jubilee leaders touring Kibra constituency were allegedly attacked.
Khalwale placed the blame squarely on ODM supporters, alleging that Luos have had a long history with disrupting rallies.
“Who doesn’t know that you guys keep quiet when there is violence in social places…and you carry stones to Kasarani and Nyayo during football matches?” Khalwale posed.
In a rejoinder, Amollo castigated Khalwale for confusing Luo and ODM.
“You are conflating Luoism and ODM as if only Luos are in ODM, you know very well that you contested in Kakamega and the man who beat you is not Luo and he beat you on ODM. So, you know those who voted for him in Kakamega are not Luos,” stated Otiende Amollo.

Khalwale jumped ship after Jubilee Party was declared winners of the 2017 Presidential elections.
He would ditch his party to side with the ruling party, and he is often seen to be closely associated to DP Ruto.
It would be wrong to stereotype a community. It is also wrong for the leadership of a community to allow its community to be stereotyped by their own activities. – Boni Khalwale #AMLiveNTV @debarlinea pic.twitter.com/2lehTSD7xL

From a fierce Government critic, Khalwale has morphed into a Jubilee administration apologist.
