Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has been under attack from netizens after she dismissed one lady seeking her help. The lady who goes by the name Videltah glory on Twitter reached out to Esther as well as Sonko and Joho online seeking their help in clearing the medical bill for the late David Mutemi.
Many try their luck online with such bids and some have been successful but Esther was anything but empathetic to the case. She replied to the desperate girl saying her salary has exhausted.
Check out the conversation screenshots below:
Her reply angered and infuriated Kenyans after she showed her lack of empathy for the girl and the family. They trolled her online to express their disappointment. Check out netizens reactions below:
Passaris reply is so right in many ways kenyans choose to ignore the other side of the story and focus only on what they think is right! There are so many angles to this tweet

In my mind I still want to support passaris, but she is just like a makanga

Passaris really told them its "fuck ur needs" till the court reinstates our housing allowances ๐๐๐๐

I'm so surprised Passaris said this especially to a grieving family. Basic human decency had left her, she can't get a trace of it. I'm shocked. If you can't, silence sometimes is golden. Kwani this family pays your so called per diems, or salary na wamekatalia?

Maybe passaris wants use to think she's demented so that we can't hold her accountable

Passaris now knows she's a one term women's rep. Her "I care" attitude has gone.

What Passaris is projecting here on these streets is what most of your leaders feel but theyโre not as courageous as her

Dear Esther Passaris, Vildetah was asking for you and the other leaders to come together to help the family of the late David Mutemi. Coming together doesn't translate into money. Using your social media platforms to highlight the issue helps. How much would that cost you? https://t.co/zBHpXwe207

Aki vile I voted for Esther Passaris whole heartedly. ๐
The only sure bet I had out of all my votes. Nowadays she does everything to humiliate us. Ungenyamaza tu BTW @EstherPassaris
Too bad this is what I had to read first after logging in. https://t.co/DonM798Dyi— s a m i (@nyobs_) August 15, 2019
At this rate they shouldnโt just suggest to take Passaris phone away. Take the entire Passaris away. Lol

#passaris I decided earlier that i won't be voting in the next election lakini itabidi niende nitoe huyu mama, no empathy
