The Kenyan National football team Harambee Stars fell at home to Tanzania in the second leg of their CHAN qualifier match in Nairobi. The teams finished the match in a barren draw over the two legs meaning that the victor would be decided on penalties.
Sebastian Migne’s men missed 3 spot-kicks and will now miss the tournament which will be held next year. As expected, losing in a derby hurts especially at home and many Kenyans took to social media to express their disappointments.
Some were calling for the resignation of the head coach, Sebastian Migne.
#HarambeeStars beaten at home by Tanzania. Sebastien Migne, kindly do the honourable thing and leave Kenya. Thanks!

The deficiency in the team well put on board..
There is an urgent need to do a nationwide talent search for attacking creative minded players in Kenya.
When you watch football at Koth Biro, school games, etc there is talent, so how is it when you watch #HarambeeStars ⚽ you just cringe? pic.twitter.com/TBnKUnqX8M— Warothe Kiru (@warothe) August 4, 2019

It was sweet revenge fr Taifa Stars who lost to Harambee stars in the just concluded Africa Cup Of Nations Tournament in Egypt. Both teams were in Group C and met in the second group match with Kenya winning courtesy of a double from Micheal Olunga.
Tanzania will now face Sudan in the second round of the qualifiers, for Kenya however, the wait continues…
