Manchester United made it 5 wins from five Preseason matches this summer with a shoot out win over Italian giants AC Milan on Saturday. Marcus Rashfor and Jesse Lingard got the goals for the Red Devils while AC Milan replied trough Suso and an own goal from Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof.
During the game, Manchester United fans grew increasingly frustrated with midfielder Nemanja Matic who was slow to the ball and misplaced a lot of passes. He was also at fault for Milan’s first goal after his error left Suso through on goal.
Negative #MUFC preseason: Matic still out of form. Very slow and it is a big question if he can get back to being useful for us. From what I understand he is mentor to McTominay and will be positive with the team, but I guess this is his last season with us.

Legs gone..
Dybala will be an upgrade on Mata and Lingard for certain but more pressing for #mufc is surely central midfield, Matic's legs have gone.
I think its while I'm not excited by this transfer at all….— David Little (@davidplittle) August 4, 2019

The club has already lost Ander Herrera to Paris Saint Germain this summer meaning that should they fail to sign another midfielder, Ole Gunnar will have to heavily rely on the Serbian defensive midfielder.
United really need to think about replacing Matic #MUFC

I remember seeing Matic and Rashford giving away the ball for fun throughout the match.

Manchester United will play their first Premier League match of the new season against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are in danger of losing key midfielder Paul Pogba who has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
