An alarm has touched the nation on the very important day the country is celebrating its 56th Madaraka day in Narok with the event being held at the Narok stadium.
This is after reports that a 22-year-old man, Adan Galhai got arrested on Saturday morning while trying to sneak into Narok Stadium where President president Uhuru Kenyatta will preside over Madaraka Day celebrations.
Its reported that Adan Galhai, who is also known Urisha Galhai, and has been in Somalia for two years, had been arrested by KDF soldiers on Friday but he got away.
A police report was seen by reporters revealed that Galhai, who is suspected to have links with deadly terror group Al Shabaab, was also posing as a security officer.
βHe wanted to enter the stadium on Friday and when searched, his National Identity Card and another Identity Card written as National Security were recovered from him.
When he was being questioned about the same he escaped,β the statement reads in part.
Galhai was nabbed on Saturday morning when he went back to the stadium.

Following the incident, security in and around the stadium was heightened with the press at one time barred from accessing their facility.
Adan Galhai alias Urisha Galhai aged 22 was later picked by officers from the anti-terror unit for questioning with details emerging that he had been undergoing training in Somali.
